Governor P. Sathasivam will inaugurate the Vidhyadhanam scholarship project set up by K. V. Thomas Vidhyadhanam Trust at St. Teresa’s College here on Saturday.

About 1, 000 students in government and aided schools in Ernakulam parliamentary constituency will get scholarships as part of the initiative, said Mr. Thomas in a communication.

Students who won ‘A’ plus in all subjects in SSLC and Plus Two exams will receive the scholarship.

An assistance of Rs. 2, 500 each will be credited to the account to be opened in State Bank of India. Students will also get ATM cards and other related banking benefits.
