PG diploma
The National Power Training Institute, Bangalore, has invited applications for admissions to its 26-week regular Postgraduate Diploma in Transmission & Distribution Systems.
The main objective of the course is to create a technically trained manpower available for recruitment to power companies in the areas of Sub-Transmission and Distributions of Electrical Power.
The course content complies with the syllabus for Engineers and Supervisors for operation & maintenance of Sub Transmission & Distribution Systems as per the Safety and Electrical Supply Regulations of Government of India.
Those with a B.Tech./BE in Electrical, Electrical and Electronics or Power Engineering are eligible to apply. There is no upper age limit.
Sixty are available and course fee is 1,35,000 plus service tax @ 12.36 per cent.

Completed application along with a crossed Demand Draft of Rs.500 drawn in favour of PSTI, Bangalore, should be sent to the Principal Director, Power Systems Training Institute, National Power Training Institute, Post Box No – 8201, Bangalore – 560 070 so as to reach on or before October 13.
Admission starts from October 16 and the course will commence on November 3. Sponsored category of candidates are also eligible for admission.

Industrial Automation
The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Calicut, has invited applications online for admission to its PG Diploma course in Industrial Automation System Design (PC- 100) starting from September 17. Duration of the course is 24 weeks (720 hours).
BE/B.Tech. holders in Electronics, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation and Control, Applied Electronics and Instrumentation, Mechatronics, and Computer Science and Engineering are eligible to apply.
NIELIT also conducts an advanced diploma course in PLC/SCADA/DCS Engineer (PC- 500).
