Hyderabad :

The State Minorities Commission has asked schools and colleges where Muslim minority students are studying to create awareness about Government of India scholarships and to facilitate students in filing their applications.

The last date for applying for the scholarships is September 30.

Commission chairman, Abid Rasool Khan, said letters were addressed to educational institutions giving details about the pre- matric and post-matric scholarships.

The website for pre-matric (Class I to X) is www.apsmfc.com, for Moulana Azad Education Foundation scholarship (XI to XII) www.maef.nic.in and for post-matric and merit-cum-means scholarship, the website is www.momascholarship.gov.in
