China offers scholarships to Pakistani students : Pakistan

Islamabad :

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang highlighted the need for collaboration with Pakistan in a variety of fields.

At a programme at the Pakistan-China Friendship Centre, he appreciated Pakistani students for showing interest in learning the Chinese language.

He said that he would continue his efforts for the promotion Chinese language in Pakistan.

He said that he would send 1,000 teachers to teach Chinese language to Pakistani students. He also offered scholarships to Pakistani students for higher studies.

Roots International Schools (RIS) Chief Executive Officer Walid Mushtaq said that both countries have supported each other at odd times and called for exchange of delegations to further fortify the bond of a time-tested friendship.
