Young Leaders to get their Due: India

CHENNAI:

Coffee Day and FLAME (Foundation for Liberal and Management Education) have come together to create a unique opportunity for the youth to pursue their dreams with the Leaders of the Future Program.

The program offers students Rs 5 crore worth of scholarships for various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that will assist them in� attaining higher education and also help them reach achieve their career goals.

Professor Indira J Parikh, President of FLAME and former Dean of IIM-Ahmedabad said, “Leaders of the Future Program focuses on providing the right opportunities to young individuals who aspire to reach great heights.”

He also mentioned that there are numerous bright young aspirants in India who seek higher education but lack the means to do so. With the scholarships FLAME wants to provide opportunities to those individuals who are keen and interested in achieving high in life. It will also ensure an all-round personality development of the aspirant.

“Coffee Day cafes have always been a hub for the youth and we want to satisfy what is top of the mind for youth today – education,” said K Ramakrishnan, President – Marketing, Cafe Coffee Day.

To avail this scholarship students are required to buy the application forms from Coffee Day outlets across all major cities. The selection criteria will be an exam to gain admission into FLAME and then a screening process based on merit, economic and social conditions to be eligible for the scholarship.
