Fashion designing and Garment making Courses conclude: India

Vocational training to Muslim and Dalit Girls and Women

VARANASI: The 36-day course on fashion designing and garment-making to provide vocational training to Muslim and dalit girls and women concluded at Madrassa Khwaja Garib Nawaz, Rahimpur, in Lohta on Sunday. The course was supported by the Rural Training Centre (RTC) of the Union Bank of India and the Human Welfare Association (HWA).

RTC director Rupak Verma distributed certificates to 31 girls and women, who completed the course. Those trained women could take loan from banks to begin their own garment-making units.
