Bihar government approves guideline for coaching to minorities: India

Bihar government on Tuesday approved the ‘Guideline 2012′ to provide coaching to the minorities’ students to enable them to prepare them for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted exams, an official said.

The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting presided over by chief minister Nitish Kumar, principal secretary (Cabinet Coordination and Secretariat) Ravikant told reporters.

The Maulana Mazhrul Haque Arabic-Persian University has been made nodal agency for execution of the ‘Guideline 2012′ to provide coaching to the minorities’ students preparing for the UPSC examinations, he said.

A committee will be constituted for implementation and review of the coaching facilities for the minorities’ students to be headed by the Minorities Welfare Secretary, Ravikant said.

Among other cabinet decisions, the state government decided to raise the superannuation age of the teachers and scientists of Rajendra Agriculture University at Sabour (Bhagalpur) and Pusa (Samastipur), he said.

The state government has approved a proposal by the Finance department for online generation of various papers by the trade tax department and gave consent to amendment in its rule.

Under this proposals, the traders will be required to generate all required documents in their accounts and submit the details to the trade tax and will no more be require to visit the latter’s office for payment of taxes or refund which will be done online
