Peshawar:

University of Peshawar has announced fully funded scholarships for UoP teachers of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Faculty of Social Sciences, who wanted to pursue higher studies M.Phil and Ph.D in Pakistani Universities.

The scholarships have been announced as part of Human Resource Development component of the project, “ Strengthening of University of Peshawar“.

One Scholarship each has been allocated for Department of English, Anthropology/ Sociology, History, Gender Studies and Political Science, two each for Education and Social Work department, three each for the department of Philosophy and Law and four in Fine Arts.

The scholarships includes maintenance allowance of Rs.1500 per month for a maximum period of four years during study leave, tuition fee, honorarium to supervisor and book allowance for the scholar.

The scholars are required to submit their applications through proper channel along with relevant documents latest by 30th April 2012, directs a notification of Directorate of Planning and Development,
