Department of social welfare conducted three-day induction training for CDPOs and supervisors from February 8-10 at AWTC Diphupar with director social welfare, Khevito T. Shohe as chief guest.

The training was conducted with an objective to impart basic knowledge about the objective and services of ICDS scheme, pre-school activities, health care services to the malnourished children, pregnant and nursing mothers, job responsibilities of CDPO and supervisor, account rules, anganwadi population census and delivery of Supplementary Nutrition Program (SNP) foods to the door step of Angawadi centres for the needy beneficiaries in the state.

Resource persons were DTH joint director, Anthony, A.O. Vahine Thisa, deputy director Khehoto, P.O. Shikuto Sema, DWO Tulula, DPO Chubainla, CI Bino Newmai instructor AWTC Limansangla and Renchano.
