Apply online for CET 2016 from today : India

The Karnataka Examination Authority on Tuesday invited online applications from eligible candidates for the Common Entrance Test 2016.

Applicants should visit http:kea.kar.nic.in to avail the e-brochure, which has all details about filling up the online application. The applications can be filed from Wednesday, and the last date is February 13. The entrance test opens doors to professional courses, including medical, dental, Ayush courses, engineering, architecture and pharmacy.

The KEA has requested candidates to read the details before applying as filled-in applications can’t be edited. The last date for downloading the challan and depositing amount in the bank account is February 15. Hall tickets can be downloaded from April 15.

General category and backward class candidates must pay Rs 650 for application fee, and SC, ST and Category 1 students Rs 500.

The KEA is seeking details of students from the Pre-University Board. As soon as a candidate enters her student number in the online application, all related details will auto-fill on the form.
