Free medicated stents for 200 needy patients : India

Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, in collaboration with Medtronic, USA and Dr. Govindaraju Subramani Heart Foundation, Illinois, will organise an angioplasty workshop for 200 poor and needy patients who will be given free medicated stents worth anywhere between Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 75,000.

The workshop will be held from October 15 to 18 at Jayadeva Hospital, Bengaluru, and from October 19 to 20 at Jayadeva Hospital, Mysuru branch. According to C.N. Manjunath, Director of Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, those who have already undergone coronary angiogram and advised angioplasty can avail themselves of the opportunity.
