Human Welfare Foundation Distributes Scholarships: India

Human Welfare Foundation New Delhi, PM Foundation Kerala and Fatima Health Care Group felicitated 125 meritorious students belonging to Muslim minority community of Assam in an Award Distribution Ceremony held at Nabin Chandra College Badarpur South Assam.

The Foundation distributed Rs. 1000 each to the students along with the appreciation certificate. The Foundation will soon penetrate into 15 more states of India, including Bihar, UP, West Bengal, etc. in order to encourage the students from the minority community. The HWF is striving to achieve advancement at the societal level, for which it has introduced the programme of “Vision 2016” which covers health, education, employment along with financial aid in judicial matters.

The primary aim of the foundation in distributing scholarships is to inculcate the importance of education among the parents and to motivate the students. In this programme, students who scored 60 and above percentage in the 2011 Board Examinations were selected and felicitated.

The Foundation aims to build one thousand schools all across the country for quality education, and along with it has several other schemes under its belt which can provide a positive impact on the society.
