Free vocational classes for underprivileged women : India

Bengaluru, Karnataka :

Come April, numerous underprivileged women residing at Bannerghatta will be given self-employment training.

The classes will encompass skills like stitching, weaving, jewellery making, cooking, baking and training to become a beautician, said Namrata. G, Chairperson of FICCI (Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry) Ladies Organisation.

“FLO Bengaluru will organise a fundraiser for these programmes,” she said on the sidelines of a session on “Technology Today; Possibilities for Tomorrow” organised by FICCI.
