VIT Offers Course for Entrepreneurs : India

Vellore , Tamil Nadu:

The Technology Business Incubator attached to VIT is inviting applications from entrepreneurs and would-be entrepreneurs, aspiring to start techno-ventures in the food and agro-processing sector. The free, six-week, non-residential programme will begin from February 2 and conclude on March 14, 2015.

The last date to apply for the programme is January 23, 2015. Graduates and diploma holders in Engineering, Management or Science with an interest in food-processing technologies may apply for the programme.

According to VIT chancellor, G Viswanathan, the aim is to equip students and entrepreneurs with the knowhow for initiating ventures in the food and agro-processing sector.

The joint initiative between VIT University and Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, also provides incubation support to start-up ventures. The VITTBI also periodically organizes capacity building and training programmes to address the needs of early-stage entrepreneurs and individuals planning to start a business venture.
