Financial Aid for Higher Education : India

‘Pratapmal Harakchand Bhandari Karuna International Education Foundation’, an Educational Charitable Trust, invites applications from the deserving students for annual scholarships towards pursuing higher studies (professional degrees) for the academic year 2014- 2015.

Students who have secured above 75 per cent in the qualifying examinations (+2 or UG programmes) and with the total annual family income below `4 lakh are eligible to seek the scholarship support towards tuition fee. The earnest candidates will be backed by the fund until the completion of their course.

Twenty-five per cent of the selection is reserved for widow’s children, physically challenged and students from socially backward communities. For details contact, Praveen Tatia at 98400 95050.

“The main objective of the Trust is to provide financial assistance as scholarship to any deserving student who is unable to meet the financial burden of his/her higher education, irrespective of caste, creed, sex, or religion,” said P H Bhandari, founder of the Trust.

The trust was formed by P H Bhandari, the leading businessman, in association with Karuna International, a non-profit service organisation (NGO) working towards development of young students.
