Chamundeshwari MLA G.T. Devegowda distributed scholarships and hearing aids to 50 specially abled students at a function organised this morning at JSS Polytechnic for Differently Abled, Manasagangotri, to mark the District Lions Service Foundation (DLSF) Day today.

Speaking on the occasion, GTD lauded the Lions Clubs for its relentless service to the specially abled community.

Observing that serving the disabled meant real service to the society, he called upon the beneficiary students to make best use of the scholarship in pursuing their education.

DLSF Chairman Ln. M.V. Deviprasad, Lions District Governor Ln. Prof. T.J. Ramamurthy, Dy. Governor Ln. Hemanth Kumar, Ln. Kariappa, JSS Polytechnic for Differently Abled Principal N. Shekar and others were present on the occasion.
