Islamabad :

Federal minister for inter provincial coordination (IPC) on Friday desired for increasing the number of seats for minority and talented students scholarship scheme to 500.

He was given a briefing regarding Scholarships schemes being implemented by the Ministry of IPC (Education Sector) and it’s programme regarding recognition of talented students from minorities and their socio-economic uplift.

The minister emphasised that this programme should be continued for the proper socio-economic development of minority students. He ordered that the amount of scholarship be increased from Rs 30,000 to Rs 100,000 for each student per year. He desired that the number of students benefiting from the scholarship should be enhanced up to 500. .
