IKRF, BISP sign MoU on vocational, technical training: Pakistan

Islamabad:21 September :

The members of a visiting delegation of Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation (IKRF) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) with regards to provision of vocational and technical training to BISP beneficiary families, at BISP secretariat on Thursday. Hossein Anvari led the delegation and the Iranian Ambassador in Pakistan Ali Reza was also present on the occasion.
“Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) is playing a pivotal role in providing employment opportunities to women and youth besides poverty alleviation in Pakistan.
The efforts of Farzana Raja (BISP chairman) in this regard are highly commendable, as she has done great service for the socio-economic uplift of the poor segments of society from the platform of BISP,” said a member of the delegation.
Farzana Raja thanked Iran for lending its support in providing vocational and technical training to millions of BISP beneficiary families. pr.
