Bhopal based institute to train UP youths: India

Lucknow:

Bhopal based IT training and educational services company, All India Society for Electronics and Computer Technology(AISECT), will give skill-based training to around 3,300 youths in 45 districts of Uttar Pradesh.

This comes after a MoU has been signed between AISECT and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) in May this year. Under the agreement, training of over 1.3 million youths across semi-urban and rural India will be done by 2022. The training will be imparted under phase I of the project, which is being implemented in nine states in India.

AISECT officials said that they plan to utilize the existing knowledge base which includes nearly 10 lakh students that are trained by AISECT. The training will be done in both organised and unorganised sectors in the seven identified areas. As per the demands and needs of the students in the state, the courses will be offered to students with an assured placement service,” said an official.

AISECT’s skill development initiative will cater to NSDC-identified seven sectors including IT and ITES (IT enabled services), electronics and hardware, banking and financial services, teacher and assessor training, textiles, organised retail and agriculture skills. Initially, AISECT’s focus would be on the IT and ITES sector. The project will be initiated in 108 AISECT centres in the state
