State gets quota at hostel for working women New Delhi: India

Nagaland Social Welfare Board has informed that hostel for working women from North Eastern Region of India has been made available at Josala, New Delhi.

According to an official release, Assam has been allocated 125 seats, Arunachal 50 seats, Sikkim 75 seats, Meghalaya 25 seats, Nagaland 50 seats, Mizoram 90 seats, Manipur 50 (can go up to 200) seats and Tripura 25 seats.

As per the notification, the admission fee would be Rs. 6000 plus license fee of Rs. 1700 and a rent of Rs. 1500 per month.
For women students including those studying in coaching institutions, trainees, interns, researchers as well as self employed women would be allowed upto 30% of the total beds allocated.
