Govt okays uplift schemes for Lakki: Pakistan

On the request of MPA Munawar Khan Marwat, the provincial government approved several uplift projects in education and communication sectors for Lakki city.

Engr Haji Ameer Nawaz Khan, the brother of MPA Munawar Khan, said Wednesday that the developmental projects would cost Rs 25.5 million. He said that Rs 6 million had been sanctioned for the reconstruction of Government Girls High School No 3, Lakki while Rs 2.5 million would be spent on repairing three roads in Lakki City.

He told that the pace of work on the construction of higher secondary block in Michenkhel boy’s school was accelerated, saying that the project will be completed at the cost of Rs 17 million.

He assured that all out efforts would be made for the development of urban locality. “To resolve the problems of city dwellers is on top of priorities of MPA Munawar Khan and he will leave no stone unturned for the betterment and well being of area people”, he maintained.
