Adminstration gets funds to arrange Minorities Marriages: India

ALLAHABAD:

The district administration has received funds meant for helping members of minority community, living below the poverty line, to get their daughters married. The fund has been allotted for the financial year 2011-12.

The parents/guardians of the minority community living below the poverty line desirous of performing marriage of their daughters have been asked to submit the required application form to the district minority welfare officer.

They should also submit the income certificate, residence certificate, issued by concerned tehsildar/SDMs. Besides, proof of the age of the daughter and details of the bank account.
